About Us

Diana has a Bachelors of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University in flute performance, as well as a Masters of Music in flute performance from the University of Ottawa. She is Associate Performance Faculty at Carleton University.  She has studied with such notable teachers as Robert Cram, Camille Churchfield, Joanna G'Froerer, Carolyn Christie and Dr. Amy Hamilton. Diana was an artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts in 2007 and has toured internationally with the L'Orchestre de la Francophonie.  Diana was the President of the Ottawa Flute Association from 2011-2013 and was also the Assistant Artistic Director of the National Capital Suzuki School of Music from 2013-2016.

Diana has been a Flute Clinician for MusicFest Canada and New Horizons Band, and coaches and adjudicates the chamber music program at Canterbury High School.  She maintains a busy teaching studio in the Westboro area of Ottawa and performs with her chamber group Opus Three.

Diana apprenticed in flute repair in 2011 with Tom Cross, and gained her Straubinger certification in March 2012.  Diana has given workshops on flute repair at McGill University, University of Ottawa, McMaster University and Wilfrid Laurier University.
